About Us
I am Chaplain Clydette Baker. This women's group was originated in October of 2004, at the time it was called women with a purpose. We change the name in 2015 to Multicultural sisters international. Focus on the needs of disadvantaged women by addressing their social, economic and spiritual needs in relationship to workplace and community. Help is provided in areas where they struggle the most, self-esteem personal image and attitudes. When we have our sister to sister monthly meetings we always begin with prayer and Faith confessions. Using positive testimonies we build up their self-esteem, and helping them with reasonable and obtainable goals
We are a Houston based non profit dedicated to offering various programs for marginalized groups includings single mothers and underprivileged children. We strive to foster a sense of community, empowerment and support for those in need. At Multicultural Sisters, we believe in the power of unity and diversity. Through our initiatives and resources, we aim to create lasting impacts and positive changes in the lives of individuals and communities.

Garland Alexander
President of I Believe-N-You Children Outreach Ministry
I’ve been part of MultiCultural Sisters since its founding, driven by a deep understanding of the struggles faced by underprivileged families. Raised by a single mother, I found guidance through caring mentors—youth pastors and teachers—who believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. Without them, my life could have taken a very different path.
Now, as President, I lead the “I Believe In You” initiative, focused on uplifting youth from single-parent and disadvantaged homes. My mission is simple: to be a light in dark places, and to show others that their beginnings don’t have to define their future.

We believe in the inherent strength of every woman, empowering them to embrace their true selves, shape their destinies, and positively influence the world.
